Aisling Bea

Aisling is a popular Irish comedian, who's been performing for some time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on 16th March 1984. The comedian appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, or Aisling "Bea", is an Irish actor and writer. Her birth date was the 16th of March 1984. Bea's acting career started in the year 2011, as a stand-up comedian, after appearing in small part for Irish and British television shows beginning in 2009. She began appearing often on sketch comedy and sitcoms from 2012. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel programs. In 2016 and 2017, she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, as well as a participant on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. In 2012, she was the only woman in history to be awarded the So You Believe you're Funny award. Bea is her maiden name in honour of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Her father Brian was an equine veterinarian who committed suicide at the age of three. Bea was just three years old though she wasn't told about what happened to him until she reached the age of 13. In 2017, she published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also she adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea and her sister Sinead and her sister Sinead, were brought up by Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. The family was awed by horses, race meetings and the racing industry. As a young girl, Bea worked as a tour guide in the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she wasn't interested in the racing industry as a career and instead was a performer.
