Christina Hendricks was an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway. She played her role for seven seasons of AMC's time-travel drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. The role she played in the series won her critical appreciation and six Emmy awards in the category of best supporting actress. The actress has earned recognition throughout the span of two decades for her role in legal dramatic Kevin Hill, comedy series Another Period and crime drama Tin Star. Her appearances are featured in movies like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River as well as the Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg, and American Woman. Her voice can be heard in animated movies like Toy Story 4, Scoob! and From Up on Poppy Hill. Before that, she was working as a model, and carried on to work in that field for quite a time, before she finally made an acting debut in television on the anthology series Undressed in 1999.
